The August update for Xbox One has now begun rolling out to users. It brings some important improvements to the Xbox ecosystem and we’re sure many folks are excited.
The August update was announced last month, and has been around in preview form for a couple of weeks now. But today it started going out to everyone, so users can update their consoles right now.
The new version of the Xbox OS brings improvements to the Activity feed, allows users to buy games and media on the go through Mobile purchases and expands the availability of OneGuide to new countries. You can check out the full list of changes here.
Microsoft has been hammering away and they’ve kept true to their monthly update schedule for the Xbox One. There's a long list of features that will be coming to the console in the next few months. Users will no doubt be happy about the new features that the company is adding . At the same time this also shows what Microsoft can do when it’s firing on all cylinders, and that’s encouraging for their ecosystem as a whole.
