It's not a virus but it does install adware...so it can be considered a pup

This app is meh, but individual apps such as auslogics disk defrag, registry cleaner are very good and trustworthy.

About a year ago i tested this software, but it caused some serious CPU spikes. The latest version seems to be v11.5.0 and according to changelog, a lot of bugs fixed since then. I'll give it a try.

Another new feature implemented in BoostSpeed 11 is a special mode that protects computers from pet-caused disasters. The new Cat Mode, when enabled, locks the keyboard and mouse when a PC is idle, so that there is no risk of cat paws causing any damage as the cat walks across the desk. The user has total control over the feature, can set up the unlock code and decide when the mode should get activated.
