Indeed but here in all samples in malwarehub, Emsisoft is top in detection. Anyway, not a big deal as such sites might not be trustful at all.

Has Emsisoft really so many false positives? I am a new user of it and have no idea..

Surprised Eset didn't score higher in this test!?
(Then again it was tested on default settings)

Uh Whoa.... Symantec is back in the tests? and Uh... didn't expect that result. :S

EDIT:
Never mind, Saw the reason:
We added Symantec Norton in this test, even if they did not apply for being included into our test-series, as the results has been highly demanded by our readers and the press.

Makes sense since It means Symantec didn't pay for this years tests... Am I right?

Another thing (Which I always forget)
Norton does rely on SONAR/Download insight and I bet they didn't disable Smart Definitions.

There could be a fact that Emsisoft FP rates are bit high due to aggressive methods but most application could generally from its popularity of the file since least users used may flagged as suspicious.

When few of them could mistakenly detect even famous ones.

As usually Avira is on the top notch but varies from other test organizations.

Symantec which their Reputation feature is solid but could be bypass from Auto Protect component.
