Somewhere In nowhere
We released the File Detection Test. It assesses the ability of antivirus programs to detect malicious files on a system. Whilst the test only assesses one antimalware feature of the programs, this feature is important for a security solution. This is because it can identify malware attacks from sources other than the Internet, and detect malicious files already present on the system.

Such a small difference in the missed samples except for Ahnlab.I think avast is better than it is in these reports.Maybe Avast didn't buck up for the FP test and forgot the tip on the others :D

The FP data for Avast doesn't look good, but you're only looking at one month. Even if you factor in the March data, that is still only two data points and not statistically valid for drawing a conclusion. I would also ask to see the test protocol to ensure it is valid. Too many "tests" of security software are invalid or weighted to give preference to one or more products. The trade rags have a bad history of conducting these type of "tests" all the time, favoring the products advertised in their rags.
