On February 17, 2016, for the fifth year in succession, the AV-TEST Institute is awarding the AV-TEST AWARDs to manufacturers with outstanding IT protection solutions in the year 2015. The coveted awards are presented in the categories of PROTECTION, PERFORMANCE (speed), USABILITY, REPAIR and ANDROID SECURITY.

The Results of the AV-TEST AWARD 2015
For the manufacturers of security solutions, February 17, 2016 is a special day: the team from AV-TEST is already awarding the coveted awards for the fifth time. The AV-TEST AWARDS are presented in the categories ofPROTECTION, PERFORMANCE (speed), USABILITY, REPAIR and ANDROID SECURITY. This year, AV-TEST is presenting 12 awards.

This is what the awards stand for
Each of the products recognized withstood certification tests performed by the laboratory throughout the year 2015 and achieved top ratings. The awards are divided into the user groups of home and corporate users in the categories ofPROTECTION, PERFORMANCE (speed) and USABILITY. Products in the areas of ANDROID SECURITY and REPAIRwere recognized as well.

AV-TEST BEST PROTECTION 2015 AWARD
The AV-TEST BEST PROTECTION 2015 AWARD goes to the winner in the category of protection against malware. Symantec Norton Security is receiving the award in the area for home users, and the award goes to Symantec Endpoint Protection in the area of corporate solutions.
