Generally I would agree with you because usually these programs have only a short term plausible effect.
However FixIt Utilities is actually a really good program specially if you have a pc with some troubles, that does not require a re-install.
I use to have this kit in my box for quick fix purposes and it really does a good job.
BUT as the wise Chinese is saying: Do not touch what you cannot understand.
If you do not know what button X does? or button O then stay away from it, but for those who do know what individual options do, this kit can be a life saver.

What exactly does this do? "Fix-it" ?
 
If you go to the avanquest FaceBook page, you'll see a lot of negative responses concerning their products and support.
If you are still inclined to use some utilities package, I would recommend Glary Utilities which have both free and pro version
(the latter very often appears at promotions and giveaways). Or Toolwiz Care which is great and completely free.

I'm also trying to find out the installer link for English since 8AM but couldn't . The registration page gives the same serial to all and a German installer. Sorry!! no link till now but somebody can find one.

Giving serial for Avanquest Fix-It but showing download link for driver genius, how could one activate that mismatched software?
 
but wasnt ccleaner attacked last year as a backdoor once hacked can be hacked again
