They should not be in a free program.If people wish to buy the full product,they will do without the advert nonsense.Isnt it ironic,that the adverts actually are putting potential customers off avast...?

Well I imagine if you want something for free you will have to accept the ads or move on to another free solution.
This doesn't happen in the paid version(other than offers once in a while on the main GUI) and in fairness to Avast if they are offering something free of charge then I guess they have a right to advertise their products.
I myself would not care for this but I do not blame them.They get beat on all the time for this but in their defense they provided a free solution for many years.
