New Avast Beta version 19.3.2368

UPDATE - version 19.3.2368 released
- retpoline BSOD fix

Hi everyone,

new beta version 19.3.2366 (build 19.3.4231) is released.

What was fixed
  • AV installed in passive mode on W10 if OS was in Russian localization
  • "White UI" issue

Good news everyone!
New stable version 19.3.2369 has just been released.

What's NEW:

We’ve set our VPN free - SecureLine VPN is no longer attached to your antivirus. It’s now a separate product

A safer UEFI - Anti-rootkit scan now protects your UEFI (unified extensible firmware interface)

What we FIXED:

- When installing Avast Ultimate, all products in the bundle will be installed in one go

- Fixed our boot-time scan

- Made sure our UI loads correctly ("white UI" problem)

- Fixed a bug for our users in Russia where Passive Mode sometimes turned on for no reason (Сожалею!)


How to install:

1. Update from your existing Avast version via Settings -> Update -> Update program

2. Or you can download and install from here

Avast feels like it's in permanent beta nowadays. Even the so-called "stable" version.
They must have claimed to fix the "UI failed to load" multiple times by now and yet it still happened to me randomly a few days ago.

Considering the amount bloatware they've packed into their AV software, they need a ton more beta updates. As one will fix an issue, but break another.

Avast Free Lite coming soon in 2041
- removed 121 other avast services

- File Shield is now running sanboxed for higher security (aswEngSrv.exe process)



What we FIXED:

- AvLaunch won't show up twice in the Startup menu anymore
- HTTPS scanning now works with the latest versions of Firefox
- We'll now link you to a specific help article when Wi-Fi Inspector finds a vulnerability

How to install:

1. Update from your existing Avast version via Settings -> Update -> Update program
