Really avast! Hardened Mode is awesome.​

Thanks for the review....It was just blocking every file .... I think the review can be more useful if you also run some safe files to see the false positives

I just installed Avast Free, it is the 3th day I am using it. I enabled Hardened Mode on aggressive + checked PUP scan in all 3 shields. Memory usage is about 16 - 20 MB. I really like it

Just a warning: If you download a lot of stuff, this hardened mode isn't for you. It will block any unknown files, and kind of like a policy-based HIPS mode. However, if you can resist the urge to smash your monitor everytime Avast says "blocked this or "blocked that" it's okay. Just Warnin'

UAC does the exact same thing as hardened mode but runs at Windows kernel level.
Why would anyone need two notifications for the same process?
