Guys, you cannot compare two totally different products. Avast is Antivirus and its job is to do everything, but essentially its job is only to remove and block bad files, and nothing more. Any antivirus will almost without problems delete worm executable on your USB, but it won't repair any damage, such as hidden files or fake shortcuts. MCShield is specially designed to do this, and there is no antivirus that will do it better than MCShield. MCShield isn't made to replace antivirus, but to work along with and to be another layer of defense. Hope you now get why this comparing is impossible.
