I don't know why but the download always fails. When I try to update too (I'm on 6.0.0.1154), it says something about network failure. I'm not sure what to do. Halp please?

Did you try to reset your internet connectivity like in router in order to release the IP and refresh then check if you can update?
Did you accept any notification from Windows Firewall to allow the internet access?
Check if its allow to access via Windows Firewall?

I did both and saw that 360 is allowed. I also reinstalled. It's still showing the error.
Update: Still not working. I don't know anything else that could stop it. Ugh. I'm trying 360 Internet Security now. If you have any other suggestions, I'll still check because 360 Total Security seems cool.

Do you use the download-manger of Qihoo TS ? maybe the settings are not right...
Other than the ones mentioned, do check Proxy settings

today i send them a suspect file (i zip that file and passworded it with this name 'infected')

remove this software and install better (Avira or Avast) they are regard more than this company...
For those 2 engines go to virus scan option on side and you will see 5 icons on left side near bottom,click the 2 for avira and bitdefender make sure they are on and it will install
How could they know the password of a locked zip file. This makes no sense. You should have sent them the password too. Their customer support is simply excellent from my experience.heh
