The Avira Browser safety is getting a new feature – an ad blocker. The Adblocker will be integrated into our Avira Browser Safety and its usage is very straightforward. For now, the test will run on Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome only.
Yeah, it's good, currently using it with Ublock origin. In the future i am hoping i wouldn't need to use Ublock origin though.Heard good things about the extension. Not a fan of adblock, I hope you can disable the feature! Thanks for the share.![]()
So you are saying ABS is also an Adblocker? Just like Ublock origin. I don't think so. I tried it and it failed to block ads on all the sites i visited. Not sure I understand the point of adding an ad blocker to ABS. It already includes tracker blocking which generally includes all ads; it just isn't configured to hide the placeholders of those blocked ads.
It doesn't specifically target ads but it does end up blocking them from certain ad networks who consistently implement tracking beacons into said ads. Any major anti-tracker/ad blocker probably has it beat in terms of blocking ability though.S

I think its more like Disconnect. Disconnect blocks trackers not technically ads but most of the ads tracks you so they end up getting blocked.S
