Avira should align to the standard components where relying on traditional signatures is no longer usable.

Look the product of Avast, AVG and others; the component features says at all.

Avira focuses a lot on heuristic as they call it advanced heuristic. The point is to kick any treats' ass out of our stuffs. From test to test Avira performs so well in eliminating harmful treats like viruses, trojans, worms, etc but sometimes it misses harmless treats like PUA or adware. I think Avira should fix this side. Overall Avira is good AV. I use Avira Antivirus Pro for my professional laptop and ESET Smart Security 9 for my private laptop. Both work so well, no treats detected by second opinion scanner and the most important thing is lightweight
