Battle Avira PRO 2018 VS F-Secure Safe

I'm currently using F-Secure Safe (about 8 months remaining) and I've received a free 1-year license of Avira PRO 2018. I wish to know which one is better, in terms of performance and Exclusive Features and Functionality?

You are correct. In one of the latest beta versions (and possibly in one of the latest stable releases) they upgraded the engine so that it would not require restart.

It's welcome change. But for good cause I've almost always restarted PC just to make sure that all updated modules are working like they should
