You really think that an antivirus will block a Ransomware at startup? Lol
It will launch before the start of the antivirus

If the ransomware is a fake and don't have startup key ... or if the antivirus has deleted the startup key you can't see it if you don't reboot ...

Previously I've tested comodo vs emsisoft BB with ransomware both bass the test but the clear winner with me was comodo with no single change because of sandbox, emsisoft detect it at startup.
Great test @Manzai and we are waiting your final test with winner.

Edit:
plz even the product block the ransomware do system restart to make sure that system isn't locked.... Like in this video or do system scan.
