Intrigued, I'll try to add this to my "To watch lists". FYI, I've never seen WD.

basically the story is:

Raymond "Red" Reddington (James Spader), a former U.S. Navy officer turned high-profile criminal, voluntarily surrenders to the FBI after eluding capture for decades. He tells the FBI that he has a list of the most dangerous criminals in the world that he has compiled over the years and is willing to inform on their operations in exchange for immunity from prosecution. However, he insists on working exclusively with a rookie FBI profiler by the name of Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone).

What make this show so awesome is the acting of James Spader, the character is a great dude, with never-ending funny stories and anecdotes he loves to tell. You want be friend with that guy !
Also each episodes are based on a name from that list: "under the radar" highly specialized criminals that any authorities don't even imagine they exist like crime cleaners, invisible hackers that hack anything, unique skills hitmen, money launderers, etc... all leading to various conspiracies.

Worth ten times the watch.
