You can’t really, but if you have unwanted shields (Mail Shield is useless if you don’t use a mail client) you should turn them off.
Turn hardened mode off and and set realtime protection to normal or lower.

Thanks but Mail shield dont do nothing right i never see it work

Mail shield is only for POP3 email. It does not cover web based email. Avast is fast out of the box. Should have done a custom install.

Do this. Uninstall Avast via Windows Control panel. Select repair when Avast pops up. Uncheck mail shield, crime fighter and software updater. Reboot. What are your system specs and why are you trying to make one of the lightest av's on the market lighter? You will not be able to accomplish what you are trying to do anyways.

Good advice but the web shield is still important also. Stopping malware before it even reaches your pc is a great asset.

Step 2. Perform a custom installation, forget about the Tools
Step 3. Uncheck the Google bundleware
