You're right..with no hassle..3rd party tools makes headache nor BSOD..ha.ha..Windows Firewall, the most important reason is third-party firewall network drivers cause a lot of problems on Windows 8.1
We have had several posts within the last month about third-party firewalls and security suites on Windows 8.1 blocking Windows Updates, apps, slowing down web browsing, slow torrent speeds, performance issues, BSOD, etc. that should be enough to convince anyone to only use Windows Firewall.

I agree with @illumination, which also answers your question @ifacedown about compatibility with Windows 8.1 since you really wouldn't need a free 3rd party firewall since Windows Firewall provides 'sufficient' protection.Is this compatible with Windows 8.1 Update 1?
It was a Privatefirewall clone but Webroot discontinued it soon after it was released in 2008, it doesn't support Windows 7 or 8.This looks very much like PrivateFirewall!
