Advice Request Best Image Viewer?

I voted others. It really depend on the processing workflow if you are a photographer.
If you're using for leisure purposes, i believe any of them would make a good image viewer, even the Default Windows Photo App. serves you good too.

What I'm using currently: ACDSee Pro 9.

Actually, I haven't tried different photo viewers because I am happy with Picasa.

If you're looking for image viewer only then Windows default app is good enough.
If you need some more editing options then you can try XnView (available also as a portable app).

Nothing beats Windows built-in image viewer. It's faster than third-party image viewers.

To "view" photos, something as simple as Windows Photo Viewer is sufficient for my needs, part of Windows 10.

Photographers may need an application with more features, and likewise if you wish to edit the image.

But, picasa is dead and is no longer maintained so I switched to w10 photos app.

If its image viewer then the built in from Windows is fine. But for sure you may rely on something editing tools which any of 3rd party alternatives can be.

Windows photo viewer is garbage compared to FastStone FastStone Image Viewer - Powerful and Intuitive Photo Viewer, Editor and Batch Converter
Also saves images correctly for different devices. Especially when it comes to android development.

Yes I currently use Adobe CC 2015 - Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Media Encoder, Dreamweaver, and Lightroom. LoL but those are all for editing not necessarily for viewing images a massive waste if you just want to view the image. That's why Faststone is a better "image viewer" than the others. But totally agree about the usage requirements. Though I would say about the color managers: that in some cases its not necessarily the image viewer color profile but the monitor color config profile. Though you are right the image viewer in win10 doesn't have a color config manager. I've run into the color issue every time I buy a new monitor regardless of brand Samsung has some nice color configs that are preinstalled but aside from that they all usually come without true color configs.. Thank god for the people that spend 5 hours messing with the config and making it perfect and posting them lol

picasa works but you won't get any security patches from google as it merged with google photos app.

I have been using ACDsee it for a very long time now, like some of its special features. Just use it as an image viewer not as an editor.
