I was shocked by the performance of Rosamund Pike in Gone Girl! Wow, she maybe considered for an Oscar with that performance...Interstellar was nice. For action I liked Transformers : Age of Extinction! (imo better than Guardians of the Galaxy)

No love for Boyhood? That's surprising....I haven't seen any movie that scored a perfect 100 and 99 on Metacritic and Rotten Tomatoes respectively.
