today I have recieved an email from the AVG Beta testing portal stating that AVG has developped the first beta for Mac operating systems! finally after a few years the developpers think its time to unleash it! from experience , I know that the demand amongst AVG fanboys and other customers whas huge! if you want to test this product out , you will have to register for free to gain acces to the AVG beta portal!

What is AVG AntiVirus for Mac?
This is the first version of our AVG anti-malware solution for Mac, which combines easy drag-and-drop file scanning with real-time background protection and automatic updates. In addition to scanning for Mac-specific viruses and spyware, AVG AntiVirus for Mac also detects and blocks PC and Android™-based threats. So you can feel safer knowing your Mac is protected, and your PC and Android friends can feel safer anytime you share files with them.
How can you help?
We’d like you to install and test this new product to verify that it works correctly. To get the product up and running, feel free to follow the AVG AntiVirus for Mac instructions and test protocols, which will help guide you through the installation process and basic usage testing.
We’ve also prepared an AVG AntiVirus for Mac Beta questionnaire for you to complete once you’ve completed your testing. Please make sure to complete the questionnaire by the end of this Beta test. The earlier we hear from you, the better!
