I was requested to take a look at it by the company themselves. However, they never responded to my inquiry of a familiar appearance to another antivirus/anit-malware application.

I would be guessing this is a rather new product by Bitdefender? Also, whenever you do these test, do you submit any malware that was undetected to the security company/AV vendor?

This is pretty new (I would say within the last year). As for the second question it depends how easily the submission process is but in this case the answer is no I did not.
