Used it some time ago. Was too basic for my tastes, I couldn't even "de-quarantine" files (that's fixed now AFAIK).

I also like the comodo firewall, but most average users would activate windows firewall, thats why i use it in my tests!

Bitdefender always had very good web blocking. I just don't know why it did not detect many of those links.

Small sample set, it does have the same detection rate and url filter as the Bitdefender paid version.

That's right. All that Bitdefender paid version has is the new Photon technology, which is not for related to security, instead performance of system and very configurable UI. Correct me if I am wrong.

i only checked Bitdefender free, i disliked it.
paid version may be good, as some one saying.
