Howdy guys I just wanted to let you know, if you have dual boot on your system for two Windows OS or you if you use HostsMan to harden your host file, BitDefender Free will corrupt your host files.

The only resolution is to either uninstall BitDefender Free or disable auto scan.

I searched their forum and other users have also reported this issue with no helpful replies.

Bitdefender's support is terrible. They are so arrogant about their beloved ranked #1 product that they think users should just be grateful. All you ever get from BD support is: Uninstall any and every other security related product. I regret buying a paid license because it just feeds their arrogance.

Thank's LittleBits for the information!

ZeroDay what about Kaspersky 2014 with Webroot SecureAnyWhere Complete?
And maybe Comodo Firewall? Webroot Support is great! Just a thought!
