So I decided to go a bit unconventional on the battle opponents here, since EIS uses BitDefender's engine (only for static/on demand protection though, as per their own statements).
NOTE: I also have WSA Complete installed on this system, though just for the backup & password management functions (WSA uses lastpass). I can't fork out money for separate backup and password utilities & since I have many, many, many years left of WSA it's going to stay
whatever I pair with it will have to learn to play nice.
I understand that WSA and BitDefender have often butted heads on many occasions. Emsi is designed to be compatible with other programs, but will the original BD conflict still be there since it uses BD Engine?
Anyway, which would you choose? Emsisoft with BD engine, or straight for the original (BitDefender)?
