Bitdefender Scan Technology Now Powered by Photon
Bitdefender Photon™ Technology is an innovative antivirus technology that boost scanning time, eliminates slowdowns and accelerates scanning speed by gradually (in matter of hours) understanding and adapting to your PC.

The independent series of tests, carried out in May by AV-Comparatives, reveals Bitdefender performance is “Very Fast” regardless of the operations performed on the system, while still not missing a single infection.
