Hi,
have you ever heard about this software which claims to tweak windows privacy and telemetry settings?

''Blackbird is a Windows security tool which improves your privacy on your Windows PC. It is a simple and quick tool which helps you tweaking the security settings without having any specific tech knowledge or without spending hours of your valuable time. Unlike other security tools, Blackbird is simple, powerful and comes with a basic layout.

Blackbird is not a real-time security software but it is a program which creates a privacy wall for Windows which stops the automatic data collection and gives you the total control on your privacy. The program comes in a zipped file and requires no installation.''

I stick to O&O shutup10, anyway those tools are more placebo that real anti-spying/telemetry blockers.
Ok, but O&O is just for windows 10 and i know for windows 7,8,8.1 privacy and telemetry is not on the same strict/level like in 10, but there is something similar and good like O&O?

I have finally tried it, it is nicely done. I copied some nice tweaks from it like disabling DNS AutoCorrect and MRT's heartbeat:

Code:
rem 1 - Disable Domain Name Devolution (DNS AutoCorrect) / 0 - Enabled (Default)
reg add "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters" /v "UseDomainNameDevolution" /t REG_DWORD /d "0" /f

rem Restrict NTLM: Incoming NTLM traffic - Deny All
reg add "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\MSV1_0" /v "RestrictReceivingNTLMTraffic" /t REG_DWORD /d "2" /f

rem Restrict NTLM: Outgoing NTLM traffic to remote servers - Deny All
reg add "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\MSV1_0" /v "RestrictSendingNTLMTraffic" /t REG_DWORD /d "2" /f

rem 1 - Disable Malicious Software Removal Tool offered via Windows Updates (MRT) + Disable Heartbeat Telemetry
reg add "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\RemovalTools\MpGears" /v "HeartbeatTrackingIndex" /t REG_DWORD /d "0" /f
reg add "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\RemovalTools\MpGears" /v "SpyNetReportingLocation" /t REG_MULTI_SZ /d "" /f
reg add "HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\MRT" /v "DontOfferThroughWUAU" /t REG_DWORD /d "1" /f
reg add "HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\MRT" /v "DontReportInfectionInformation" /t REG_DWORD /d "1" /f

Yes, I have tried using it on my Win 10. It is easy to use that helps repair common errors and malware on my computer. Also, it helps on hardware failures and it optimizes my PC for maximum performance. So, it's worth trying out.
