BleachBit quickly frees disk space and tirelessly guards your privacy. Free cache, delete cookies, clear Internet history, shred temporary files, delete logs, and discard junk you didn't know was there. Designed for Linux and Windows systems, it wipes clean 90 applications including Firefox, Internet Explorer, Adobe Flash, Google Chrome, Opera, Safari, and more. Beyond simply deleting files, BleachBit includes advanced features such as shredding files to prevent recovery, wiping free disk space to hide traces of files deleted by other applications, and vacuuming Firefox to make it faster. Better than free, BleachBit is open source.

personal review... It states that it cleans cookies, but as I'm not really aware of where they are in the Linux OS, I can't say that they are being removed. I know that the History of Mozilla Firefox can't be removed without removing the Bookmarks as well (?) Tactical error :) Granted, Firefox does have its own 'clear' function, but as with any web browser, there will be traces of things left, like certain tracking cookies or some LLS cookies (?). I may be wrong with the last sentence.

That and I've seen it get SEVERAL error while trying to clean files that it really shouldn't be cleaning.

This is a great little tool to use. Does a simular job like CCleaner does.
