ok, so how do I prevent all my browser info being displayed when doing browser tests?
Also, how reliable are privateinternetaccess and OpenDNS, etc?

OpenDNS should perform good for improving the browsing experience by adjusting the current server IP address from your ISP. Fine tune malware and phishing protection, widely allocated category for blacklisting.

Private Internet Access review here: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2414799,00.asp

What do you mean by browser info? The one in the title bar? Usually in browser test the user agent string is already attach to detect your OS and other basic information but you have the right to decline any geolocation permission.

I use OpenDNS and it works perfectly for me, can't really tell much of a difference on browsing speeds but the consistency of the loading really helps.
