Hello.
I think it will block those sites but I didn't test it u can test it by yourself and share the result with us:p
It blocks access to the harmful, inappropriate and dangerous websites that may contain malicious content.(it's from that website)
If it blocks then why no counter shown like uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger, Avira Browser Safety etc?

This is what taken from the Chrome web store

Browser JSGuard

An Addon for Detecting Malicious and Suspicious Webpages.

Features:
Content/Heuristic based web malware protection.
Alerts the user on malicious web pages.
Provides detailed analysis of a webpage(by clicking on the icon present in Addon bar).

Does not seem to work as advertised, It may list something as a threat or a warning (green) at the categories, but it does not throw the user prompt (red). So it seems to warn only (at least it did not throw a user pop-up with option to block for hidden or unauthorised redirects).

@HarborFront true the link you provided triggered OpenDNS to block a few redirects, so the idea of javascript sanatize is interesting. In the past Microsoft did some studies (Nozzle) about the effectivity of javascript sanatizing. Linkscanner (bought by AVG) also had some realtime javascript filtering capabilities. That seems to have vanished, so my guess is that new javascript standards are evolving to safer use of JS.

Looks like innovative protection. I tried to download a cracked game expectedly the download link tried to divert the browser to scareware sites (malicious or not). The plugin JSGuard blocked the site from creating further aggression  Needs to try the program for sometime to know how it behaves.
