I removed ComboFix and cleaned up OTL. I updated my Java to version 7 Update 5 and used TFC to free up about 40Mb in temp files. I also posted a new thread in Security Config Wizard on what would be a recommended set of anti virus software. There is one lingering question. My machine originally had a boot sector with these parameters, multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Windows XP Media Center Edition" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect /usepmtimer During reconfiguration I would up with a boot sector of, multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Windows XP Media Center Edition2" /fastdetect Will the loss of the 2 parameters be an issue for the machine?
