Bypassing network?

Hey people.

I have used hotspotshield to bypass the network restrictions, but its very laggy for games - any other way to do this?

What do you mean bypass network restrictions? tell a bit about you're network, firewall (and its settings), router and other related info.

Well

Its at my school. Don't know how they its set up. It block games like heroes of newerth and steam :) Don't know how.

well... the only solution is that you ask your admin to add the needed port. I don't have any other idea at the moment :(

Other then using a VPN of Proxy Server, I am agree with Valentine N..
You could try using Cocoon plugin with Firefox, they have recently made some minor changes, and it does not lag as much as most VPN's..

i think his school admin block those games via the main router because "YOU ARE AT SCHOOL TO LEARN" ! not to play games ! :D
