Cannot connect to STEAM - error 101

I cannot connect to the STEAM server. STEAM and all of its files are TRUSTED by Kaspersky. The problem began yesterday. Can I get help? Tried reinstalling STEAM to no avail

Sorry to hear that. You may want to try disabling Kaspersky entirely to see if it's causing the issue. If STEAM works then, you might need to adjust your firewall settings in Kaspersky.

I see You also created thread in Kaspersky Community, then migrate Your KTS to Kaspersky Plus, You can download the installer and just install overwriting KTS, but to avoid issues if You are in W11, you better uninstall 1st KTS, and then install KPlus.


In this case not OS reinstalling, but product re-installing, so it should be similar case.

In this case not OS reinstalling, but product re-installing, so it should be similar case.
OK but if I don't want Kaspersky Plus but KTS since I'm more familiar with the interface of it, how can I reinstall it without losing the license? And all my other settings?

With KTS 21.3 even with patches, You may still find some issues that are fixed in new product line, also 21.3 gen eventually will stop getting security patches, so You should migrate to KPlus, since it's the present, and KTS it's the past.

The sooner you migrate, the sooner you will get used to the new graphical interface, also the new product line includes an integrated Search option in main GUI windows, to easily find the settings.

How do I not lose my current 3rd party license's "valid status" tho? If I were to reinstall I'd go over the activation limit and support wouldn't help me reset it as it's 3rd party

How do I migrate all my KTS settings from the old one into the Kaspersky Plus app? Including Interface Password, Application Firewall settings (the 3 categories), Do Not Trust digitailly signed apps, unknown apps into High Restricted and apps loading prior to Kaspersky also put into High Restricted

Hey, exiting KTS then relaunching it has solved my issue completely! If I exited the KTS and then relaunched the app, does that mean Kaspersky is active on my system again? Its protection is back on?

How is the Status main GUI window in Your Kaspersky? anyway, I would migrate as soon as possible...

Nevermind issue's back again. So before I migrate over to Kaspersky Plus, will the Export Config contain all my current KTS settings including the application control module settings, the exclusions and the Interface Password? Thanks

This seems to be a KTS thing. Maybe the devs broke something with KTS, I'm not sure
