I hope someone can help me on this. I've just discovered this a few hours ago. While clicking on threads on a website I regularly follow, I suddenly kept on being redirected to another page. I noticed it will first go this http://intl.7891531.com/?sov=501843...53&impid=e15d9802-886f-11e6-9f84-cae258990218 before redirecting to http://www.reimageplus.com/lp/sqh/i...&context=4821039d-e041-4b07-b27f-0ded0877018c

I tried finding out a way to remove this, which is why I stumbled into your tutorial. However, I've tried running Malwarebytes, AdwCleaner, Zemana, and Hitman Pro, and even tried resetting my browser, yet I'm still getting redirected.

Hello,

FRST.gif
Fix with Farbar Recovery Scan Tool

This fix was created for this user for use on that particular machine.

Running it on another one may cause damage and render the system unstable.

Download attached fixlist.txt file and save it to the Desktop:

Both files, FRST and fixlist.txt have to be in the same location or the fix will not work!

  • Right-click on
    FRST.gif
    icon and select
    RunAsAdmin.jpg
Run as Administrator to start the tool.
(XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File).
  • Press the Fix button just once and wait.
  • If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  • When finishes FRST will generate a log on the Desktop, called Fixlog.txt.

Please attach it to your reply.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I did everything as instructed. After the reboot, I tried accessing the internet again. This time, instead of redirecting me reimage plus ad, it redirected me to another page:

Only on Chrome. There's a particular thread in a website I visit that gets redirected every single time I click on it, that's why I noticed. Otherwise, the redirect seems to be random. It even happened a couple of times when I clicked on a couple of threads in this forum.
