CCleaner connecting out cleaning recycle bin

Was trying to post this in general apps and off topic but could not after upgrade so am posting here.

A few insider builds ago When right clicking on the recycle bin with CCleaner it won't delete the files but today I noticed when I try that it try's to connect out.

See screen shot. Why would CC being making an outbound connecting when just trying to clean the recycle bin? ForgottenSeer 58943?

Try remove the avast cookie under Options/Cookies/Cookies to Keep. Run CCleaner again and see what happens.

Without sniffing those packets I'd make an assumption it is capturing files in the recycle bin or capturing meta-data of files in the bin.

Recommendation: Toss Ccleaner in the trash, use bleachbit, privacy eraser, privazer, whatever.

If I get time I will toss it in a VPN with a SIEM pointed to capture it and see what it is doing, but lately I haven't had much time and this weekend I have a million things to do.
