Changing from gmail.... need advice

I want to use an email provider that doesn't want to know what i ate for breakfast and how much my last paycheck was.

I've found on the site i earn extra cash on ojooo.com they also have an email client does anyone have any experience with this if not please suggest some others.

Have been thinking about also switching from Gmail to a new secure mail service but am still trying to decide also. I do have Hushmail and Safe-mail but free version only. Some links below:

Same here..still on waiting. On my side waiting on a free one isn't that good also because of the size limitation.

The bottom line is you will always be trusting your emails to a third party. It's about who you trust. Also, in the event that the provider you trusted is not morally correct, then who can do more damage, and who can you count on if something bad happens? Maybe a small provider is the best, maybe it's the web giants. Who knows?

if you are concern about your privacy why dont you try to have your own mail server?
rent a cheap vps ( virtual private server, @ average $5 - $10 a month) , i recommend using linux os, and googling around "free linux mail server"

The only thing you will get a trust is from their declarated privacy policy. Seems a hard move but they can be useful besides on issues.
