Why you guys criticize new AV companies? Not every company starts off as Microsoft. Bethesda, just like Ubisoft and Valve, started off making games like Arena, the Terminator, Vortex and NCAA Basketball: Road to the Final Four and "Gridiron!". They didn't start out as what they are today. They didn't release Skyrim or Morrowind the first day. Just like that, ESET didn't release ESET V8 the day they started out. It's common sense they will grow and it's highly unlikely they're a scam.

We are not criticizing, we are just being cautious. I did say if it's good enough on a VM one can surely use it. Heck ppl here try all sort of security products here be it a new company or old .

Yes

While is is true they use a different AV's engine , it is also true they're in the business and there's no escaping if you've more than fifty workers. It might be their plan or something, we don't know. Even games copy each-other. It's like saying Doom is ripoff of Wolfenstein.
