Good news, everyone! Chrome 65 (65.0.3325.109) for Android has been released and will be available on Google Play over the course of the next few weeks. This release contains several new features:

  • Set language preferences for web content in Settings > Languages
  • Turn on the prompt for simplified view for all supported articles in Settings > Accessibility settings
  • Share and delete downloads more easily on the Downloads page

A list of the changes in this build is available in the Git log.

If you find a new issue, please let us know by filing a bug. More information about Chrome for Android is available on the Chrome site.

Ugh how do I roll back an update? Scrolling is no longer working in Chrome 65 for me.... just annoying.

Uninstall Chrome.
  • Settings > Apps > Chrome > Uninstall or Disable (Yes)

Install an older version from a trusted APK site

Disable auto-update for Chrome
  • Play Store > My apps & games > Installed > Chrome > 3 dots in top right and uncheck Enable auto-update.

nvm I replied to the wrong thread. I thought this was about Chrome desktop which has been resolved since. A reboot can do miracles lol.
