Okay, I'm somewhat new to Chrome, as I'm always a Firefox/Waterfox user.
I have added plugins that are simular to ones I have on Waterfox, but at times when I go to view a video on a thread here on MalwareTips or other forums/sites, Chrome crashes and has to be reloaded.

Any ideas on what's causing it?

Some of my Chrome plugins,

  • Adblock Plus 1.5.2
  • goo.gl URL Shortener 0.7.5

And I know for a fact it's none of my Trend extensions.

Let start with how to fix Schockwave Flash?

And see if this is the problem?

Also, pick your choice here,

Hope this help!

Try Chrome in Incognito mode.

That's the thing, it works fine when it's in Incognito mod. :-/

One of your addons possibly?

I had a similar problem before with flash videos, it turned out to be two extensions not compatible with each other.

Start by disabling any extensions or plugins that has anything to do with downloading videos or image upload, edit or zoom.

Enjoy!! :D

Also you can check what Plugins you have enabled in Chrome here:
Code:
chrome://plugins/

If it's working in Incognito, then you can figure out what extension is the cause of the problem (as suggested above).

Disable all extensions, go through and enable 1 at a time and test Youtube, keep doing so until you come across the said issue you're having.
