Read the second forum, seems like an odd bug... that's still a problem as of Nov? I guess most Anti-viruses get buggy but this is an odd situation for an AV! :\
That's too bad because Bitdefender free does a nice job when it works. The product updates are updating each week, so its still being worked on at least.
Bitdefender had a few false positives, and I restored them to their location without a problem, so no BD hasn't deleted stuff on me.
I do notice the login bug and some minor issues I have as well, It happened on Dec 13th... sometimes I have to re-login, to have the scan function working, but the shield is 100% fine and updates 2-3 times a day as always.
