Would really appreciate some input on what I should add/remove, etc, particularly worried about people being able to see what I search and whatnot, and I obviously need some sort of malware protection.

Just take the habit to use a backup software, except that you are set.

for MBAM, yes it still can runs scans

Everything looks very good! If you want more privacy you can add to chrome an extension called "HTTPS everywhere". It makes HTTP connection In a lot of websites. If you want even more privacy you can use Zenmate. As said in their site:
