Why doesn't she disable Firewall completely then?Yeah, always did I think. I and my desktops, now laptop, survived with virtually no paranoia about it.
Just leave windows own firewall enabled as Comodo does not disable it.CS Solid and Non intrusive protection? CS setting leaves that IPv6 door wide open...
Why not enable IPv6 filtering?Just leave windows own firewall enabled as Comodo does not disable it.

Incase you want to monitor outbound connections. Why doesn't she disable Firewall completely then?
Why not for IPv6?Incase you want to monitor outbound connections.

I just let windows take care of that as I have both enabled with no problems so far.Why not for IPv6?
I don't think there will be any problems. Both seemed to work together fine in the past. In past versions, Comodo didn't disable Win firewall. I was surprised to see they do in this new version. I'll leave it turned off. I've never screwed around with stuff and won't start now.I just let windows take care of that as I have both enabled with no problems so far.

Like I already stated leave both enabled or diable the firewall component in Comodo if you have IPV6 concerns. So just still leave it alone and let CIS IPv6 filtering door wide open for novice users?
See what happens to novice users?Windows firewall is disabled here, Win 11 Home. I just checked. It tells me Win firewall is disabled. Comodo firewall active.
You can monitor what is going out via the Custom Ruleset setting so even a novice could do that ?See what happens to novice users?
I`ve just enabled WF to see if it indeed causes any conflicts but no problems so farNovice user of Comodo since v3 or v4, and never infected
If the latest version is like the past, you won't have problems. It played nice with win firewall in years past.I`ve just enabled WF to see if it indeed causes any conflicts but no problems so far

I don't fiddle except to input CS config, and the first time I input for 2025 I found on 2d review that I had missed or skipped one or two of CS settings, and CF was better once I corrected and updated the CS tweaks.I don't remember it being overwhelming. I recall a lot of pop ups, either HIPS or firewall initially. I've got 2025 on this laptop and not a problem in Lycia theme. I don't care for the new UI. As always, no troubles to report, but I'm not paranoid and don't fiddle with settings, thinking I can make it better.
...but if I recall correctly, installing CF did not turn off Windows Firewall, & CS said ok to leave WF enabled -- no interference. Doesn't hurt for you to confirm that on your pc.I`ve just enabled WF to see if it indeed causes any conflicts but no problems so far
