I agree let's try to stay on topic. If someone want to create a new thread like "Comodo's Deceptive Ads" they are welcome. These ads have been around for awhile, unusually can be found on MajorGeeks and other download sites (if you have an ad blocker you probably will not see them).

Yeah, I don't agree with that marketing angle.

They do however, put their money where their mouth is. If you pay for the product and get an infection they can't fix, they'll give you $500. I'm not aware of any other vendor that does this.

Yes, 'they' would be GeekBuddy.

The only catch I'm aware of is that you used to need to live in the U.S, although Melih has stated that the guarantee is now worldwide.

I haven't really paid that much attention to it because I haven't purchased a license, but you can read all about it here in the EULA.
