I have seen people complain that Valkyrie goes off-line a lot. So I would not rely on that.
Generally speaking, Comodo has weak malware detection, no matter which version of Comodo you use.
The real strength of Comodo is not in traditional malware detection, but rather in its auto-sandboxing function.
Comodo also has a strong HIPS, although it can be a challenge to get it set up and keep it set up.
Properly configured and used, auto-sandbox and HIPS make Comodo really strong. But don't fool yourself about Valkyrie and all that stuff.
