better? i like ZA but it does not have the same tools that Comodo does so i think it depends on what you want and need . Comodo has HIPS and Sandboxing TEchnology and other stuff too. if you just need a simple but not light inbound outbound protection then ZA is your friend

Is a Firewall, there ain't much to get better.
Comodo is better against Malware due to it's additional features though.
But as a Firewall alone I would use rather use Zone Alarm, is more stable.
