Why does Comodo state Windows Defender does not get deactivated, users must do it themselves? Every one I've used, from Bitdefender, ESET, avast!, and Kaspersky all disable Defender, it shows that obviously they cannot be bothered to do so/build it into their product.

The problem is Windows - and not the security softs.

There are long-standing race issues with Windows Security Center that cannot be fixed by the security soft vendors; it is wholly a Microsoft issue.

I did use the registry key on Windows 10 forum which totally disables Win Defender - how comes Kaspersky and Bitdefender stops defender?

In my testings...

Bitdefender didn't always shutdown Windows Firewall.

Emsisoft didn't always shutdown Windows Defender.

Comodo doesn't always shutdown Windows Defender.

etc.
