If they use machine learning and behavior monitoring, which are not anything new, why these next generation vendors are able to collect a lot of investment and gain market share?

I would say that people are just getting tired of the same old traditional security.The story of the "next-gen" sounds interesting, and when you invest a lot of money in the spread of a story, this same story, at the end, can be something in which people believe.
