For the Linux users who remembered the light weight Debian based distro (based on Stable Branch solely) that used OpenBox with Tint2 Panel combo, which in turn inspired an Arch based distro with same approach, Crunchbang Linux, also known as Crunchbang #! was discontinued by its developer.

Needless to say, because of the nature of the distro + the stability and lightness, it is being supported still but under a slightly different banner:
Crunchbang #!++
Available for 32bits and 64bits, based on Debian 8 Stable Branch (Jessie).

Grab it here.

A slight note that one should be aware if dual booting etc:
Code:
INTERNET CONNECTION REQUIRED
Keep in mind, as the distro is currently based off of the Debian netinstall, an internet connection will be required.

NOTE
[LIST]
[*]Both releases support EFI
[*]Neither release supports Secure Boot
[*]Some laptop trackpads will be inoperable during installation, despite working properly in the OS itself.
[/LIST]

Needless to say its on my list to be added (tho I still have Archbang lying around on the netbook)
