I do not know anything about linux, except that it is a OS. I am feeling to start learning. So can u help what to start with? I have some ebooks, but its a headache .
 
Ubuntu or Mint for beginners , learn to install it then after read a lot ^^

too much effects , i wonder the RAM/cpu usage :D
