The reason why it says "This feature is not quite finished yet." is because we can make this feature even more robust, even though it works great the way it is.

thank you for the quick response. It's a useful feature for added Microsoft Defender and Windows Firewall security, so the best choice in my opinion is to enable DefenderUI autostart with Windows to have DefenderGuard's protections always active.

Thank you very much for the info. Better to keep DefenderUI always active then. Anyway that feature isn't quite finished yet so I think Dan can explain what does he mean with that. Does DefenderGuard currently offer a partial protection ?

my defenderUI / defenderguard panel does not match yours -- I don't have the text at the top of the page. I'm running v1.46 (maybe I'm behind and didn't realize it (or you are??))
